Post I've been meaning to put up. Hopefully you know that the movie rights have been bought, but nothing concrete has happened yet. Who would you want to see playing Peeta, and what are your expectations for him? | |

I've seen a lot of places where people say Alex Pettyfer or something like that. I don't know whether or not I like him for casting, and my knowledge of actors is dim.
But I would die and never watch the movie if Selena Gomez was Katniss and Taylor Lautner was Gale. I saw somebody suggest them in a cast for hunger games. | |

I just think that the Disney actors don't look old enough. I know they are probably the right age, but they just look so young. That doesn't always play so well on the big screen. | |

I really think that they should have a new actor-thats hott and fits all of the charactoristics of Peeta in the book- so we dont associate him with some other role the guy played. I mean, when ever i think of sterling knight, i think of disney!! he should also not be involved in another movie series or have his show that hes in. that would just make conflicts for him, and both his series/show and the hunger games wouldnt be as good as they could be because of it. | |

I really think that jason dolley couldnt really be a mocho guy in the movies but hey! maybe it will be like twilight, how Taylor lautner had to stand up to be in the second movie, maybe he will too. but i dont really like the idea of sterling being peeta. not that im agenst him, just that it doesnt feel right. cody linleys good though. as long as i can shake the idea of hannah montanna from my mind!
